You may recognize the place… the old Round Barn at the Cornelius Pass Roadhouse. If you have spent any time on the grounds, you may also know that dogs are not allowed. This photo is a testament to the sweet humans in this trio… they were able to persuade management that Gustav is a one of a kind fellow. He was allowed to be on site for an hour and his behavior was impeccable.
How do you weave such a magic spell?
The answer is to surround yourselves with family and friends and bring your very full hearts to the table. I can’t tell you what a beautiful day this was but the pictures can! That was possible because Jac and Drew brought it all to the party. This was a back yard wedding of the very best kind and I am so pleased to have been a part of it.
Seriously. Do yourself a favor and designate a good friend to be your point man… someone who can get your Aunt Edna to the vineyard without having a panic attack. Someone who can make it so that you can turn off that cell phone for one very special day.
This and more really good advice available now from this wedding professional. ;0)
The cocktail hour was rolling at my back when I stood on the veranda at Zenith Vineyards for a quiet minute… the air was October crisp on my face. A cool part of my job is to be responsible for bringing home the parts of the day that the lovers may not see… a chance to give them a little added dimension. I must confess, though, that I would have taken this just for myself in any case. Why not gather the pretty parts of any given day?
