Ripley and the Lacy Wedding Dress

The-lacy-wedding-dress-Jamie-Bosworth-Photographer

The lacy wedding dress was hanging in the window above the bed in a tiny space full of bridesmaids… supposedly out of the general foot traffic and harm’s way. Champagne was being passed and the girls were helping each other with zippers and sashes as Ripley made his way to the bed… he had noticed something new in the room and, as cats will, decided to check it out. Halfway across the bottom of the train, his claws picking up bits of lace, Christie, my cool and collected bride, caught him up just in time. The look on his face tells me he wasn’t expecting to be noticed. Such a silly cat. ;0)

Christie put on her lacy wedding dress and got married to Matt in his fabulous suit on a hot afternoon in late July … I can’t wait to share the whole day with this couple! They were a lot of fun!

Francoise Weeks Florist… an Unabashed Recommendation

There are some fine and wonderful florists in our fair city but I am always drawn to the art of Francoise Weeks. She seems to have an infinite connection to her own wide universe and a capacity for the translation of it. If you can give her an idea or two about what you like, she can bring intricate miracles to the table. All it takes is a little time and some trust in her many talents.

These two arrangements are enhanced a bit by the dirt under the fingernails of the older and the band-aid of the younger… still, charm abounds! I love flower girls!

Let me know if I can help you find the vendors of your dreams, ok?

Rainy Day Girls

Alexis and Kim had one of those lovely days where plans got shifted back and forth by the weather but through it all, they remained rock steady and in love… something you hope to see in any couple as they embark on a life journey.

I happen to be one of many who thinks that people should be able to marry the one they love. Period. With any luck, this world will come to see that there are no rules in this except the ones written by the heart.
